DataBase Engineer

What will you do at Evona:

• Create the objects in the database
• Ensure data integrity
• Develop software solutions
• Monitor the performance of the database and ensure optimum performance
• Resolve any production data issues
• Develop automation technologies to accelerate the process of data loading

We are looking for someone who:

• Is familiar with DBMS with the accent on PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB technologies
• Is familiar with ETL processes
• Has an experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Is familiar with Python or PowerShell
• Knows best database security practices
• Understand data modeling processes
• Is eager and willing to put effort into learning and improving
• Has a high ability to understand abstract concepts
• Will work in our office in Mostar
• Can read and write technical documentation in English
• Has a working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Is cooperative and teamplayer

Nice to have qualifications:

• College degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in database engineering
• Certificates (Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified, Azure Administrator Associate)
• Knowledge of agile methodologies (SCRUM)
• Experience with Azure DevOps
