Tasks
- Team management & development: Management of a hybrid engineering team consisting of on-site and remote employees (employees & freelancers).
- Recruiting & Hiring: Developing and implementing successful sourcing and hiring strategies to expand the team.
- 5-star team development: Building a product-orientated development team with a strong connection to the customer and the other internal teams.
- Work closely with Product Management: Work closely with our Technical Founder and our Head of Product to translate product vision and strategy into development.
- Foster culture: Develop a team-oriented, inclusive culture that emphasises collaboration, innovation and quality.
- Process design: Designing and optimising efficient work processes and tools that facilitate and promote collaboration in a hybrid setup.
Our tech stack:
- FE: TypeScript, Vue.js
- BE: TypeScript, Express, Golang (+Huma/REST APIs)
- Cloud: GCP, Terraform
- CI: GitHub (+Actions)
- DB: MySQL, Firestore (to be migrated away)
Kvalifikacije
- Experience in team building: Proven success in building and leading teams of developers, especially in hybrid working models (on-site & remote).
- Hiring Expertise: Experience in sourcing, recruiting and negotiating salaries in an international environment.
- Leadership skills: You are able to motivate and inspire people so that they can realise their full potential.
- Language skills: Fluent in German (B2) and English to foster collaboration in an international team.
- Hands-on mentality: You have a pragmatic and solution-orientated way of working and can maintain an overview even in complex situations. You support your team when it matters.
- Product orientation: Understanding of the importance of product vision and strategy and their translation into software development.
- Experience with freelancers: Confident in integrating and managing external specialists in existing teams.
