Founded in 2016 and based in Freiburg im Breisgau, Idana AG develops innovative software solutions that can be used to optimize routine processes in healthcare and make them more efficient. We firmly believe that digital solutions have enormous potential for medicine. We focus on the needs of doctors and patients and combine medical know-how with the latest technology to develop software solutions that offer the greatest possible added value for everyday medical practice in practices and clinics.
Opis posla
As a young company with a team of 30, we at Idana AG in Freiburg are working together to improve medicine. With Idana, we are transforming paper-based practices into digital facilities in which our efficient patient recording system enables first-class medicine. Over 3 million patients across Germany have already used Idana and more than 90% are convinced by Idana.
As a Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) in our team, you can actively shape the future of medicine and take it to the next level by working on Idana!

Tasks
You are an experienced software developer and ...
- actively shape new ideas for Idana together with the product managers, product designer and software developers - innovative feedback from developers is essential for our product development
- solve demanding challenges regarding our software architecture - this includes, for example, the processing of end-to-end encrypted, real-time synchronized data
- actively contribute to the improvement of our systems architecture so that the team can work more efficiently and have more fun developing new features
Our tech stack:
- FE: TypeScript and Vue.js (mostly)
- BE: TypeScript and Express, Golang and Huma (all REST APIs)
- DB: MySQL
- CI: GitHub Actions
- GCP and Terraform
Kvalifikacije
- You have experience in designing system architectures that enable the team for efficient development
- You have specific database knowledge regarding MySQL or PostgreSQL and its vertical and horizontal scaling
- You love to optimize CI/CD (GitHub Actions) workflows to become super-fast because we want to deploy smoothly and quickly
- You love code readability and PR reviews - because we all like to read simple and clean code
- You're able to write unit and integration tests fast
- You're interested in Idana's vision and mission and you like to align with the businesses and your teams objectives
- You speak English very well
- A bonus is, if you speak German
