Marvelsoft is headquartered in Hong Kong and specializes in creating solutions for stock trading and data analysis in real-time. We are currently looking for an Operations and Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Tuzla. This challenging role involves dealing with computer networks & operating systems and system administration.
Responsibilities:
Servers and company services:
• Install required servers for company needs
• Maintain existing servers and keep them up-to-date by applying timely patches
• Facilitate infrastructure for running and keeping company services up and running
• Maintain the computation cluster
• Make sure the development and release docker images are working and that the latest builds are passing
• Keep the distributed compilation servers running
• Suggest resource reuse and expansion when needed
• Propose timely changes to the infrastructure when needed
• Maintain company network
• Implement connectivity services between required end-points
• Implement monitoring and alerting systems for the entire network
• Make sure all networking diagrams exist and are up-to-date
• Assists in diagnosing and solving production issues related to infrastructure
• Be aware of any security risks, internal or external
• Manage the company remote access VPN’s
• Coordinate connectivity between Marvelsoft end points and client sites
• Fully manage company infrastructure in the cloud based on company needs
• Be able to approximate running cost for existing and new setup
• Make sure the entire cloud setup is clearly documented (readable and understandable by technical staff)
• Assist the development team to establish and maintain automated pipelines for development, testing, delivery and deployment.
• Help maintain the documentation pipeline (Gitlab pages)
• Manage office workstations – help employees get the resources (workstations, network access etc.) they need to work
• Setup automated processes to keep critical production information backed-up (logs, historical data and persisted data)
• Maintain existing technical monitoring systems
• Implement new technical monitoring systems for all newly created services
