Monri Payments, a leading fintech, provides innovative payment solutions, empowering businesses with secure and efficient payment processing. We’re on the lookout for a skilled Software Architect to join our IPD (Independent POS Deployment) team. As part of this team, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing our online and in-store card payment products.
Last year, our production systems handled over 130 million card transactions in the region, meaning that we processed every fifth non-cash transaction. This year, we’re ready to take them to the next level to expand our markets further and deliver innovative alternative payment methods based on QR codes, cryptocurrencies, and mobile wallets.
We operate in the markets of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Romania, and several countries outside the region. With the recent PCI P2PE certification, the highest security standard in card payments, we are strengthening our position for a global breakthrough. In the coming period, we will be focusing on the further development of all our brands (Remaris, Smart, Thor, Start, WebPay, and WSPay) and on a significant step forward in the international market.
Opis posla
What You’ll Do?
- Design and Architecture: Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performance payment solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business users to understand their needs and translate these into technical specifications for the development team.
- Innovation: Drive innovation by introducing new technologies and methodologies to enhance our products.
- Documentation: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for software architectures and best practices.
Kvalifikacije
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Software Architect or similar role.
- Strong technical background with expertise in software development.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have
- Past hands-on experience with Java, .NET and/or Ruby.
- Experience with the C4 model.
- Knowledge of fintech and payment processing systems.

The position is available in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, with a hybrid work model.
