Embedded software engineer - embedded security

Your Responsibilities

• Your main task is the creation of securer software for embedded systems.
• This includes a detailed threat modelling, in which also the view and methodology of an attacker comes into play (Threat Modelling).
• From a subsequent risk analysis and corresponding risk assessments, you and the security team will derive possible countermeasures to secure the embedded system.
• The development of various security concepts defines in detail how a system must be protected.
• No implementation without tests: The robustness of the system is tested and proven through the design and execution of security tests.
• Once all measures have been defined and all tests have been written, the implementation of functional requirements is still pending.
• You act in a team with system engineers, computer scientists, hardware developers and test engineers.

• Preferably with a degree in embedded systems engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, IT security - but you are also welcome to have comparable skills.
• Affinity for Cybersecurity, preferably in the field of embedded systems.
• Basic experience in programming C or C++
• Knowledge of fieldbus protocols and IoT technologies is an advantage.
• Knowledge of German and good English skills
• Strong communication skills, creativity and a strong team spirit complete your profile.
