This is your role
- Administer, maintain, and support multiple OpenShift clusters across different environments (development, testing, production) hosted on-premises
- Perform regular upgrades for the OpenShift version on clusters
- Monitor cluster health, performance, and capacity to ensure high availability and performance
- Implement and maintain security policies and best practices for containerized applications within the OpenShift env.
- Work closely with DevOps teams and Operations teams to troubleshoot issues related to applications, scaling, and performance
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams to integrate OpenShift clusters with existing systems and services as well as during Infrastructure’s teams maintenance activities
- Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible)
- Perform incident management related to the OpenShift Clusters themselves or as support to different related teams
Kvalifikacije
This is you
- Proven experience administering and supporting OpenShift clusters in production environments
- Strong understanding of containerization concepts and technologies (Docker, OCI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting
- Experience with Gitlab, Jenkins, ArgoCD
- Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Powershell)
- Familiarity with on-prem infrastructure and their integration with OpenShift
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
