Opis posla
Salt Square is a growing outsourcing company that provides high-quality software development services to clients across different industries. Our team of talented and dedicated professionals is committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team and work on cutting-edge projects using the latest technologies. The tech stack you’ll be working on consists from Python (Django/FastAPI) for backend, React for frontend and everything is run on GCP.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain web applications using our stack mentioned above
- Constant collaboration with the product team regarding features and user stories
- Ownership of your tasks until they are complete (deployed to production) and ownership of your code when it’s in the production environment
- Active collaboration with your team and beyond including participation in planning, demos, and contributing to best practices within your team and beyond
- Collaborate with software architects and product managers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software applications using the stack mentioned above.
- Write clean and efficient code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct thorough testing of software components to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to existing applications.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to continually enhance your technical expertise.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Kvalifikacije
We understand that one of the great challenges in software development of today is choosing the right tooling for the job and that it’s hard if not impossible for an engineer to be proficient in the entire tech stack, but if you check some of the boxes below and are willing to work on others we encourage you to apply for the job anyway.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in Python and either Django or FastAPI framework for building efficient server-side applications
- Solid understanding of React and its core principles, with experience in creating modern, scalable web applications
- Experience utilizing New Relic or similar tools for application monitoring, performance optimization, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end technologies
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
- Proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile development methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Track record of delivering high-quality software solutions
