Opis posla
Salt Square is a growing outsourcing company that provides high-quality software development services to clients across different industries. Our team of talented and dedicated professionals is committed to delivering innovative solutions that meet our clients' needs. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test to join our team and work on with one of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using one or more of the following: Playwright, Cypress, Appium, Selenium, RestAssured.
- Execute manual test cases and exploratory testing to identify potential defects.
- Create and manage test cases within a test case management tool, ensuring traceability and coverage.
- Collaborate with developers and product owners to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
- Report and track defects throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and maintainability.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.
Kvalifikacije
We understand that one of the great challenges in software development of today is choosing the right tooling for the job and that it’s hard if not impossible for an engineer to be proficient in the entire tech stack, but if you check some of the boxes below and are willing to work on others we encourage you to apply for the job anyway.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation and extensive experience in manual testing.
- Proficiency in at least one automation framework: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
- Experience in creating and executing test plans for web applications and APIs.
- Experience in creating, managing, and executing test cases within a test case management tool (Qase, TestRail).
- Experience in mobile testing (manual and automation) is a plus
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
