Senior Backend Engineer (Python)

What would be your day-to-day responsibilities, you ask?

• Implement well-designed, testable, and efficient Python code
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity
• Write clear and detailed technical documentation
• Focus on performance and optimization
• Analyze and estimate client requirements
• Perform code reviews
• Have regular and up-to-date reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and/or client, in accordance with a predetermined way of working
• Mentor less experienced developers and interns
• Assist recruitment team in performing technical interviews
• Team-leading experience is a big plus

Ideal profile - What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of proven Python programming experience
• Advanced level of spoken and written English
• Comprehensive knowledge of Flask, Django, or FastAPI
• Strong proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience using Postgres
• Experience in working with cloud providers; GCP (preferred), Azure or AWS is a plus
• Good understanding of REST APIs and best practices in RESTful design
• Proficiency in writing unit tests
• Knowledge of Python asynchronous processing principles
• Familiarity with design patterns and SOLID principles
• Experience with containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Hands-on experience implementing microservices architecture
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus
• Experience with issue-tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
