Opis posla
What would be your day-to-day responsibilities, you ask?
- Selecting and integrating Big Data tools and frameworks required to provide requested capabilities.
- Solving complex problems, optimising data models, creating data flows and improving the processes.
- Collaborating with data analysts and data scientists to enable data-driven decision making.
- Design, build, scale, and evolve data platform, services and tooling.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes and automated workflows.
- Create real time solutions.
- Monitoring performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes.
- Architecting production ready data pipelines and processing systems from the ground up.
- Defining data retention and replication policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data into analytics platforms.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and best practices in data engineering.
Kvalifikacije
Ideal profile - What are we looking for?
- 6+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and related Azure data technologies.
- Expertise in SQL and data modeling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or similar.
- Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions such as Azure Blob Storage, Data Lakes, etc.
- Solid understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data pipeline design.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
