Design Team Lead

Job Description:

• Lead, mentor, and guide the design team
• Drive creative direction decisions, ensuring marketing effectiveness, visual appeal, and client’s brand consistency
• Track design effectiveness by split-testing approach
• Ensure the production of visually compelling and on-brand marketing materials
• Develop design strategies for various marketing campaigns and platforms
• Monitor project progress, offering creative guidance and leadership
• Collaborate closely with business unit representatives, frontend developers, and marketing teams
• Research, design, implement, and manage high-quality marketing design solutions
• Develop and maintain design documentation and style guides
• Oversee design quality and enforce best practices, including conducting design reviews
• Continuously identify areas for design improvement and ensure timely updates
• Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends and marketing best practices

Skills & Background:

• 5+ years of professional experience in marketing design
• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, guiding and mentoring design teams
• Expertise in modern design software, including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.
• Solid knowledge of design principles, typography, and color theory
• Deep understanding of UX/UI design for digital marketing platforms
• Proficiency with prototyping tools and design systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, driving collaboration

• Experience with animation and micro-interactions
• Experience with AI tools and technologies
• Familiarity with Agile development processes
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS for better collaboration with frontend developers
