Manual Quality Assurance Engineer

Your mission

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to create detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute test cases across multiple platforms (macOS, Windows, iOS, Android) to ensure functionality, usability, and compatibility.

• Identify, document, and track defects in Jira, providing detailed and accurate reports for development teams.
• Verify and validate defect fixes, ensuring they meet quality standards before release.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and automation engineers to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
• Participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups to stay aligned with development progress.

• Document and maintain test case libraries, providing clear steps for reproducibility and ensuring they align with project updates.
• Create test reports summarizing findings, progress, and key insights to inform stakeholders and support data-driven decisions.

• Contribute to the development and refinement of QA processes, including test coverage, efficiency, and cross-team collaboration.
• Actively learn about our products and suggest improvements to testing approaches.

Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on manual testing.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and software development life cycles, preferably in Agile environments.

Technical Skills:

• Experience with issue-tracking and test-management tools (e.g., Jira, Xray plugin, TestRail).
• Proficiency in testing desktop applications and mobile device management solutions is a plus
• Basic understanding of macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.

Soft Skills:

• Strong attention to detail, with an analytical and methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills, able to work collaboratively across teams and articulate findings clearly.
• Self-motivated and adaptable, with a commitment to learning and improving.
• Strong communication skills in English language.
