Opis posla
We are looking for a Freelance JS Developer to help us validate our guides and create screencasts for coding parts on Mailtrap YouTube Channel. The ideal candidate will have a background in JavaScript and different JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js), ability to record the screen and provide clear explanations of the code.
*This is a freelance position. Standard Railsware benefits do not apply.
Your responsibilities
- Review articles before we make videos
- Create screencasts on coding topics and record your screen to demonstrate working code
- Review code for bugs, check if it works, and fix any issues
- Check overall flow/guide content for mistakes and misleading information
- Prepare feedback for content writers to help fix issues
- Provide commentary during the screencast to explain what is happening on the screen
- Ensure the screencast is easy to understand and follow
- Follow the technical requirements/prerequisites as video quality, recording technologies, etc.
What you will work on
We have launched Mailtrap YouTube channel - where we are creating How-to guides for developers. We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating content and has experience in the developer space to join our team and help us create high-quality videos that will educate and inspire our audience
Kvalifikacije
- Senior-level experience as a JavaScript Developer
- Experience with screen recording and ability to explain your coding while recording
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript
- Experience with various JavaScript frameworks
- Passion for teaching and sharing knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Intermediate English proficiency (both written and spoken)
