Opis posla

RUBICON is looking for a responsible and talented quality assurance (QA) engineer who can thrive on a high-performance team. In this role, you’ll become part of a group of talented professionals who drive innovation, embrace change and celebrate success!

You will design and implement tests, debug and define corrective actions, review system requirements, and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). In addition, you’ll also focus on monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the quality of the product is up to standard by requirements
  • Analyze and report bugs and communicate to the team
  • Create and maintain Test documentation (Test Cases, Test Plans and Test Strategies)
  • Generate, maintain and run test executions
  • Perform manual and regression testing
  • Prioritize and plan your work to be able to validate developed components by the team
  • Participate in meetings to determine status, and problem areas, suggest and review actions, direct and plan necessary work, activities, and tools

Kvalifikacije

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Experience in working with:
web debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Dev Tools)
API testing tools (e.g., Postman)
API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger)
database management and query tools (e.g., Azure Data Studio).
  • Experience with testing data-intensive projects, including performance testing and data validation
  • Experience in testing analytical and visualization features, ensuring accurate and efficient performance with large datasets (e.g., charts, dashboards, and reports)
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices, including automation tools and frameworks
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with responsive design
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
  • Experience working in an agile software development process
  • Must have strong time management and organization skills
  • Strong collaboration and verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Proficiency in English is a must

Bonus points:

  • Experience with automation testing tools (e.g., Cypress)
