Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

We are searching for:

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders, project managers, QA teams, and developers to ensure alignment with the technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain workflow visibility and workload balance for seamless delivery.
• Design and oversee testing schedules across diverse browsers and devices to ensure optimal performance.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code and unit/e2e tests that meets team standards for performance and quality.
• Evaluate and recommend system solutions by analyzing custom development and off-the-shelf alternatives.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong understanding of the Ruby programming language and Ruby on Rails.
• Excellent documentation skills to clearly explain application workflows, system design, and functionality.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proficiency in MVC architecture, Mocking, ORM, RESTful and GraphQL concepts.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into a single system.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js and/or React.js.
• Understanding concept of deployment, and CI/CD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Have experience with Sidekiq and Redis.
• Understanding of server-side templating languages like Liquid.
• Experience in eCommerce website development preferably with Shopify.
• Awareness of operating system concepts, databases (SQL, PostgreSql), and system architecture.
