Ruby on Rails Developer

Responsibilites:

• Design and implement entire backend of a system, consisting of core application logic, databases, data and application integration, API and other backend processes.
• Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implementation of security and data protection.
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions.
• Provide training, help and support to other team members.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Test software to ensure proper functionality, responsiveness and efficiency using different techniques, including but not limiting to: unit-testing, end-to-end testing, performance testing, load testing, etc.

Requirements:

Must haves:

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience using Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with background processing using Sidekiq and Redis.
• Familiarity with Git version control.

Nice to have:

• Experience with 3rd party integrations (e.g., Salesforce, LinkedIn, Google, Office365).
• Experience working with VOIP providers like Twilio.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
